Notes: An original life drawing by local artist Christina Casement, from her earlier years whilst studying at the Chichester College of Technology in the 1970s; as is noted on the backing board. This study uses two tones of chalk on colour paper to capture a male model in a seated and rather vulnerable pose; hugging his knees and with his head hung downwards, tucked into the chest. The artist has hand signed and dated the work in the lower left corner. This piece has been mounted in an elaborately lined mount and could be complemented further by being framed for display.
